Michael Vick was sentenced Monday in Richmond, Va., to 23 months in prison for his role in a dogfighting conspiracy. The Atlanta Falcons quarterback acknowledged he used "poor judgment" and added, "I'm willing to deal with the consequences and accept responsibility for my actions."Here's the classic case of a young guy with wayyy too much money and nothing constructive to do with it. Why does the justice system even both handing down such an insignificant sentence of 23 months? Oh and let us not forget if Mr. Vick behaves like a good boy, he may get out 3 months early. Can anyone in their right mind actually believe that this man actually believes that he did something wrong and now understands how he must ask as a human being in our society?
It's about time we stop elevating sports "stars" to such high status and alowing them to believe they are kings and queens among the scum of the earth that is your avarage person.
If I might just go out of character for one second here... Michael Vick.. you dumb fuck, I hope the world never sees you on a professional football field again.

in 23 months, there will be lots of discussion about whether anyone will want to pick him up. he can stay in shape in prison (he can still lift weights - nothing else to do!) but let's hope that nobody gives him the time of day.
